The Challenge

Echo Factory is a national music academy set up by a group of musicians with backgrounds in the music industry and commerce.

It provides professional music training for people of all ages and backgrounds ranging from pop, rock, contemporary to classical. Students can learn about all aspects of the music industry including production, performance, promotion and contractual business aspects of the music industry.

Echo Factory offers degree courses in association with the University of Wolverhampton and Partner Universities as well as Colleges and Sixth Forms across the UK.

The academy was in need of a centralised marketing platform that would help it attract and engage new prospects and convert them into students.

The website had traditionally been the main platform for generating leads as well as pay-per-click advertising. Echo Factory was now looking for an intelligent CRM solution to help them measure their marketing activity.

“The CRM solution has had an immediate impact on our marketing activity, and given us a centralised platform to target and track our prospects. We use it to co-ordinate all of our marketing including emails, phone calls, promoting events and chatting to prospects in real-time. The chat facility has been brilliant for us. Whenever a new visitor lands on our site, we get an alert and start a chat session to learn more about them and their requirements. We can capture their contact details and start to nurture them as a prospect there and then”.

Echo Factory found the solution effective for lead generation and nurturing, as well as being easy to use and high navigable.

“At the beginning, we were a little concerned that the solution may be difficult to use and take a while to get the hang of. We needn’t have been, as the solution was surprisingly easy to learn and use. Whenever we had a query or required additional training, Innovationers were very quick to come back to us with a solution. Screen sharing sessions have been very useful when we’ve needed Innovationers to walk us through specific areas of functionality. The solution interface is very user-friendly which means the whole team can use it to help their day-to-day processes”.
